Delphi Workshop

Learn more about file handling in Delphi with this month's Delphi Workshop and the sample files on the disk.

Learn Pascal with Delphi!

These projects accompany this month's article in our Hands On Pascal series, which is based on Delphi 1 featured on this month's SuperCD.

Introducing Java

These projects accompany our Java tutorial series and are intended for use in the preview edition of Symantec's Visual Café included.

Wilf's Programmers' Workshop

The main program is GRAVITY.BAS which runs under QBasic and demonstrates aspects of 3D programming, plus some surprising facts about gravity! It is based on Wilf's library of QBasic subroutines, PIECRUST.BAS, which are documented in PIECRUST.DOC. The two .OVL files are required by all programs based on PIECRUST.BAS.

You can either access the files directly from the SuperCD in the Handson folder, or you can install all or some of the files to your hard drive from here. If you access them directly from the SuperCD, note that because they are on a CD-ROM they will be set to read-only status, even if you copy them manually to your hard drive. You need to change this property in order to save any changes to the files that you make.

Talkback

This is a ScreenCam movie showing the TalBack program which we are reviewing in this month's magazine. Playing it you will see all the program's features in action and find out exactly how good the program is.

PC Plus Database

This is an up-to-date database of reviews carried in all issues of PC Plus. It uses a special front end designed by Peter Young especially for PC Plus readers. Many thanks to him! The program will run directly from the CD-ROM, but doesn't run from the interface. To run it, open up the SuperCD and go to the Database folder. Then run either the Ftbrow16.exe for Window 3.1 or the Ftbrow32.exe for Windows 95.
